just finished fabricating this today wanted one in this style for a long time and skills have finally progressed to point i am able to forge one (found out i now know how to upset metal correctly (other than yelling at it and calling it names lol) started with piece of 20mm square and jumped it up,split it and forged the blade on back by hand, plan is to put a steel haft on it really pleased with how its going so far should be a mean piece when done

finished piece went with a simple leather wrap as spiral wrap was too much handle actually works like a spring dampening the shock from hitting solid objects so that was a cool discovery

You could kill a engine block with that. Nice work! thanks, dunno bout engine block but do plan to test it against varying gauges of steel sheet metal, to see what it can do
