So I finally managed to get a sword rack for the wall. Takes away much less space than the one I've been using so far. Also looks much nicer IMO.
While putting the swords up, I thought I'd take some pics of my collection of high end sharps. I have more swords (training weapons, too) but these are the ones worth showing.

Top to bottom:
Lukas MG XVIIIa longsword with scabbard
Lukas MG XII arming sword
Albion Norman
Original French 1822 Cavalry Saber with new handle
Lukas MG Swiss Degen
Customized old Angus Trim longsword
Lukas MG tactical sword

Except for the XII and the Swiss Degen (which are both for sale), all show signs of use, mainly patinated blades from tatami cutting and some patina on the hilt components from handling. I like seeing this type of aging, it makes it clear that the blades are used but well-cared for.

I really like the longsword at the top. Only problem with the rack is you've got no space for the next sword.
