The Practical Koto series are for the practitioner who want to cut with a quickly, good balanced and strong blade with a suguta who has its origin in Koto period.
I am curious how you are thinking aobut the practical koto lines, the blades are throughardened springsteel and are less heavy the raptor line. It makes a fast and also strong cutter for light and medium targets without the fear of harming your blades due the friendly priced swords.
This one is the Koshi Lattice katana, I also have the Tomoe, Mokko and Dragonly (with Hi).
This Koto katana is based on koshi latticed doors who existed since ancient times in Japanese temples.
The Koshi Koto katana is designed for the tameshigiri practitioner who want a fast, light, good balanced and real cutter.
The Koto Koshi Katana features a handforged and throughhardened 5160 High Carbon springsteel blade style with history in Japanese Koto period.
The tsuka is wrapped in suède with artificial same and matt brown saya with red sageo.
A recommendable n excellent katana for the iaido practitioner who would like to start tameshigiri training with a relatively inexpensive but durable katana.
