To the extent of any production sward, yes. Any sword will suffer damage through use, though. Even mat cutting will result in scuffs and can, with poor form, result in a bend. Cutting harder targets like wood dowels or bamboo can nick the blade, leave scrapes, and again, possibly a bend. Sword on sword(or any type of metal) is guaranteed edge damage, cracks, and a likely bend. This all pertains not only to production swords, but high-dollar custom swords from the finest craftsmen.

All of these swords are capable of sword on sword combat if need be? You talking sword on sword like Highlander the series? No sword is capable of that especially katana with their harder edges, you'll damage the sword very easily. If you want something fully functional, yes all the swords mentioned will hold up to various cutting measures. Though each at their respective price points will vary aesthetically. Overall if you want the most functional and best put together with the highest aesthetic appeal go with one of the Bugei I linked. If you're willing to sacrifice some of that fit and finish and asthetics for a lower price point, consider the other options like Hanwei, Ronin or Hauwei. Just remember that Hanwei can be very hit and miss with their quality control being mass produced, Ronin will be fairly basic in regards to fit and finish and aesthetics and Hauwei the ceapest of the three comes direct from China so if you do get a lemon you'll have to deal with that. You get what you pay for regarding all these vendors and manufacturers so just be aware that a $800 sword wont necessarily have the same finish and aesthetics as a $1,500 one and even the Hanwei swords at $1,000 and above wont necessarily be void of the mass production quality control and finish errors Hanwei is known for.
