No special name that I'm aware of, there's probably a Japanese term for it and it's probably something boring like "very wide sword". If you go to ricecracker.com and look at their swords, the one at the bottom looks like a close match. If you were ordering a made-in-Japan job, they'd probably know what you were talking about if you said you want the really wide tameshigiri kind of blade, if from somewhere else just toss some numbers. That one at ricecracker is under 1.5" wide, so you can use that as a baseline if you want more or less.
Hope it helps!

Someone from Kompletely Katana on FB said it's similar to the Cheness SGC Yamakami Ko Katana: Blade Length: 21 inches (Width: 1.5 inches). Very likely a custom job and looks a bit heavy.

That katana looked more lke a machette hybred. To me it looked at least2 inches wide. I have the bugei peace and i believe its 1.5. Its hardly noticable, that thing is super fat

Do a search for "Hataya kotetsu"... they're dedicated mat cutters that are wider than regular katanas, and are made in Thailand. An online friend who's more knowledgable in these blades once told me "the Bugei Dragonfly was modeled after a Gen 1 Hataya Kotetsu owned by David Neely while the Hanwei Tori was modeled after the Dragonfly." I don't know what the actual Japanese blades are called though.
