I finally rehandled my CS Natchez today with fallow deer antler. First I extended the tang an extra couple of inches, then I drilled a guide hole and basically belted the antler on with a hammer. After a couple of hours of knocking it on,pulling it back apart, refitting it etc I got it to the point where I filled the hole with 24 hour araldite then belted it back together. The stupid little tang it came with now runs nearly the full length of then the handle, and its all so tight I seriously doubt it would pull apart even without glue.

Nice work. How did you extend the tang?

Thanks guys. Scott I got a good mate who builds hot rods and stuff for fun to weld an extension to the tang. He's a professional welder so I'm confident it won't fall apart.
