I sincerely hope this question hasn't been asked thousands of times before, but I couldn't help but wonder at thefact that there is no section of this website devoted to thrusting style swords (rapier, smallsword, etc.) on this site. Does anyone know where to find information and reviews on affordable fencing style swords? Any help is most welcome.

Hey kurokaze. Welcome to SBG Forums. It is a great source of info relating to swords, but, as you've already noticed, it does seem to be more cut-oriented than thrust-oriented. But, there are a few reviews here in the Sword Review section, the latest being Brenno's review just in the last couple of days of a rapier. Of course, My Armoury is another good source for reviews of pointy swords. Although some of the swords reviewed are pretty pricey, there are still some in our price range. Although they don't have any reviews to speak of, I enjoy studying the info provided in Classical Fencing www.classicalfencing.com/ and The Order of the Seven Hearts www.salvatorfabris.com/Home.shtml Some good stuff relating to pointies. Again, welcome and good luck. Jim.
