Spotted this on Amazon for about $35. Read about some various issues on the net but decided to pick one up anyway. Considering the common complaints, here's what I found. Blade: complaint: Not strait. Mine: Strait. I guess there was a bent batch that hit the market. Mine's good. Complaint: Finish is rough and acts like sandpaper when batoning. Mine: Same. 220 grit wet paper and 30 seconds fixed that! ![DSCF1902.JPG](//storage.forums.net/1694914/thumbnailer/lgWeZ3LUiUAC2u9lqtX8.JPG) Tip: Complaint: Thin and unevenly ground. Mine: Same. Slightly uneven and thin due to the hollow grind. People complain that the tip breaks off. Well, I don't plan on using ANY knife I own as a friggin crowbar... That's why I own a crowbar. ![DSCF1903.JPG](//storage.forums.net/1694914/thumbnailer/8svzRior6TU7SGsnX1jH.JPG) Handle: Complaint: Jimping causes pain and blisters. Mine: The same I guess but that really depends on your hands doesn't it? I haven't had an issue in two months of processing firewood. ![DSCF1906.JPG](//storage.forums.net/1694914/thumbnailer/5CW2E68wLiDyYnvdXCiD.JPG) Anyway, It came with a cheap sheath that does the trick, a diamond stone and fire steel. For $35ish I think It's a good bang for the buck. Two months of processing firewood in the backyard and it chops, batons, splits, and makes fuzz sticks adequately. ![DSCF1907.JPG](//storage.forums.net/1694914/thumbnailer/sBi_HRXoTGB4mTyoFpfF.JPG) Would I trade it for my BK7? Not a chance but at this price point I think it's a great buy.
