I'm thinking about picking up a 46" nylon 2-rifle gun case for sword storage, hoping I could fit 4 swords in it (I'll add some foam to keep everything where I want it).
Anyone else done this? Any problems/suggestions?
Thanks!

I would think some of the gun socks that are designed to prevent corrosion (i.e. the wick away moisture) would be a better option than a gun case, as the latter are not really designed for long term storage and tend to trap moisture inside with the firearm and thus promote rust.

Good for carrying swords around. Don't think it's so great for storage. Sure, it'll keep dust off the swords, but a big plastic garbage bag will do the same (or just wrap in cling film), and you can keep the swords in individual bags (which will make storage easier).

I know of many rifles that rusted because their owner put their rifles in these, generally at the end of hunting season but no always, and left them there sometimes until the next hunting season and found them rusted. This was especially true if left in the trunk of a car although rifles not cased have been known to rust there also. If you go that route get something that will breathe. However, I recommend another route altogether. These cases work fine for carry but not storage.
