Nah, I don't have the means or inclination to add the fullers. This has now ventured from "replicate" to "inspired by" in my mind.

Also to be proper the grind needs to go all the way to the spine in a wedge shape. But like you said inspired, at least you aren't trying to pass it off as historically, like some with quarter or half grinds.

The blade is 1.5" wide, no way in hell I'm doing that with my little belt grinder. I might try to make a more accurate one when I get an angle grinder.

Maybe one of these days we can team up, I make the blade you do the rest. That is inless you are really in Greenland. Putting the platen back in and putting a ceramic liner on it will help with your grind lines.

I'll have to look into that someday Driggers. I'm in CONUS, for the record. I cleaned up the grind lines last night with draw-filing and started to finish up the blade. Just waiting on the stencils before I do the antiquing.
