Hey everyone! I'm bad at introductions, but I came here for one thing and I figured I'd tell you who I am before I start asking around for stuff. I'm not a sword maker, or an expert on swords. My collection only consists of two twin swords and a renaissance sword that I got for putting my trust into a pirate. It's a long story. Anyway, It's not a very big collection, but my appreciation and love for swords and swordplay is. And who inspired it all? The infamous Inigo Montoya, and you bet I want his sword. So I'll be looking to this forum for help on my endless quest for it while I read about everyone else's experiences and collections. Should be fun!

Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya... you killed my father... prepare to die!
One of the best lines ever!
Study how water flows in a valley stream, smoothly and freely between the rocks. Also learn from holy books and wise people. Everything - even mountains, rivers, plants and trees - should be your teacher. ~Morihei Ueshiba

Welcome to the forum.
Windlass use to make Princess Bride swords, but they discontinued them. You might want to go to the classifieds and ask if anyone wants to sell theirs.
"He that keeps not his arms in time of peace will have none in time of war."
Up until just a few years ago Indigo's sword was not available except by having it made by a custom sword maker. Then a company bought the rights to produce both Indigo's and Wesley's swords. I did a quick search and while Wesleys' is still available I can't find any of Indigos around. They were limited to several hundred as I recall and averaged around $ 300. Keep searching someone will eventually get bored and drop it in a forums Classified. It happens with most movie swords after a few years.

christain: Don't feel alone, Scott. I gotta work Sunday while the rest of the family has Easter dinner. That's okay though...I'll just eat double when I get home.

brothersteel: Finishing up "The Robe" as we're prepping for tomorrow. Seeing the one sword fight in the film last night, I laugh inwardly at how much Olympic fencing still reigned in Hollywood in those days. A blessed Easter to all!

redscorpion: yeah, cars. Always spending money on those things. I just had to put spark plugs in my older Jag. $300 just about covers cost of materials (plugs and gaskets) - then it's a 4 hour job to change them out.

christain: TGIF, y'all....Anyone have any cool weekend plans ? Perfect weather tomorrow for Ren-Fest here, but after having to drop $300 on car repairs ....maybe next weekend/paycheck. Even had my kit packed up and ready.
