This is a movie about a squad (aravt) of Mongol troops on a mission given to them by the Great Khan. It was beautifully filmed and edited. The fight scenes are more believable than most Chinese films of the same genre, which I consider to be Period pieces that have some crazy fight scenes in them like Warlords, Hero and the like. I really liked this movie. In Mongolian or Chinese (I can't tell) subtitles in Spanish Pros Ok storyline good cinematography costuming is good well choreographed and edited fight scenes
Cons No English version yet. Some characters seem like male equivalents to "Mary Sue"
Anyway, here it is: Aravt (Pronunciation: ahrahv, tuh)

It was released with English subtitles. The English version titles included "The Legend of the Ten" and "Genghis: The Legend of the Ten". If you search for "legend of the ten" as well as "aravt", you're more likely to find an English version. I don't know if there was an English-dubbed version (there's a German-dubbed version). The original is in Mongolian. www.imdb.com/title/tt2245990/One of the best Genghisid Mongol movies. Also, one of the few without Genghis - it's low-key, not epic. Some good armour in it, and also some of the usual cartoon armour. They shoot arrows at each other. In a lot of movies and TV, they do as little of that as possible (for safety).

Thank you for the heads up! I'm going to hunt for it. :)

hah, i didn't know it's this old but watched it a few months ago on Tubi. Sometimes I think the choreo was sped up but it was still a decent watch.
