this is my second attempt at hand forging a kukri style blade started out with a piece of what i think was a bracket, forged the rough shape then ground in the bevels and handle shape, also left a section above the handle raised for a sort of guard, plan on doing a micarta wrap handle on it so havent finished cleaning it up as it usually ends up with resin all over it that i have to clean off anyway

Looks good. How did you find grinding the bevels? I've heard that's difficult on a khukri.

horrible even though i forged in the bevels to start with still had to be super careful on the curve so i didnt chew through it trying to match the shape up, probably easier if i wasnt using an angle grinder but you use what you have. did the bottom then reversed it and went down from the top to match the bevels up im sure there is an easier way but i dont know it yet

decided to give this a mad max style makeover lol, put a newspaper micarta wrap handle on it which i think looks wicked irl also kind of cool because you can read words through it in places lol pretty happy with this one not my fave but am pleased as with the micarta will definitely be trying that one again
