Where I can I get leather thin enough for scabbard covering. All I have is too thick, did one in 10 to 12 oz. Came out ok.

I made a mistake I used 7 to 8oz on this one still to thick.

lyndle, if your searching the vast web, try searching for upholstery leather. Most times youll find that 2-3 oz. is used most commonly in the garment and furniture fields. I've never had any issues finding 2-3 oz. on ebay for everything from horse hide to fish skins.

Thanks for all the help, I have alawys tried to stay away form e bay won't know why it's just me. Have ordered some propane regulars through e bay that went fine.

My first harley was purchased through ebay. 200+ transactions later, and i've only ever had 1 problem where i paid and the item never came,......a $3.00 sticker For what your looking for, ebay would always be my first look. The last time i bought leather from ebay, the seller had good quality in all grades skins etc. Talk to Uncle George at Partners leather
