Anyone else get in on the Kaneie blow out today on the SBG store? Seemed like a good deal.

The blowout sale was just that - a complete sale of all Kaneie stock from CAS Iberia... the lucky people who got into the sale are, well, lucky. Expect prices from US dealers to go back up and remain high for their remaining Kaneie stock. Oh, before I forget - Jeffrey Ching is a Kaneie distributor/retailer in Europe... don't forget to check out his selections.

I managed to snag a Kaneie Wave during the first sell out. And on the scratch and dent sale today I got a Kaneie Tatsumaki Katana. I should have been checking the SBG store long ago.

Yup, I was happy to pick up a Budo II w/hi from SBG store to go along with the Budo I I'd paid a bit more for prior to the blow out.

My Kaneie Tatsumaki katana showed up today. I am not sure why they sold this as a scratch and dent as I can not find anything wrong with it at all. The saya has a weird color to it, almost looks like stone, but no dents, scratches and bubbling like it said on the box. It does have a small punch mark on the base of the blade to mark it as S&D, but they didn't need to. Mine came with a sageo which the picture on SBG store only showed one with it. I am very pleased for just a bit over $300.
