Very good work, you have reached an acceptable level of finish, before this i was not impressed. Keep it up, its going to get better and better from now on.

Keep it up, its going to get better and better from now on. not to sound like a tool but do you have any reason for coming on here other than denigrating peoples work? because all it seems to be is you trying to stir up trouble and downplaying peoples efforts, whilst never actually putting anything you have made up for criticism as for the knife, nice work as usual Wes, only query is hows it handle with the up sweep on the guard on the blade side thinking it might get in the way at the bottom end, apart from that question looks sweet and well made

When you reach a similar level you will receive equal praise.

The guard does get in the way of sharping bottom back part of the blade would be hard to sharp but useful as a blade catcher.

The Blade handles quite nicely, The guard does kind of eliminate that last 1/2" of cutting edge down towards the bottom, but the customer designed it in such a way as his primary goal was being able to use the blade trapper.
