Another Commission Comes to a close. This is a big monster cleaver made from 1/4" 5160 spring steel with a sharpened clip and firescale finish. The grip is made from Stabilized wood and is riveted to the full tang with Brass pins. *Specs* Blade Length: 9" Blade Width: 2 1/8" Grip Length: 5.75" Overall Length: 14.5" Weight: 1lb 4oz POB: 1" from top of grip

I have made many a butcher's cleaver but never one with a sharpened clip

Nice blade, reminded me of something I couldn't pinpoint until Derzis' comment. Been lusting off-and-on after one of these for years: Valiant Co's "Persian Camp Knife" as they call it.

Very nice blade randomnobody. I like both (the custom made by LWF and the one you added), they scream utility from every inch of them. Due to the sharped clip on the custom blade made by LWF, I can't see other than a wood scabbard for it.
