I just received my DSA Feanors 2 handed sword last night (bought from LG Martial arts)it came boxed with little to keep it from moving within the box,but wrapped in a years worth of plastic wrap.my first thought was it is beautiful but holy S### it's long.the sword has a very good balance and feels great to hold.the blade is dull so I don't know how it cuts but I think with a nice edge it will perform well, tho the blade isnt as stiff as i would have liked. The handle is very clean, neatly stitched leather great job.It has the upgraded belt, and I'm not really impressed by it I think it would have been better to save the money and got a belt and frog separate. Over all it is a very well made clean blade if you want something like a skinny claymore or really long, longsword this is what you are looking for.

Looks really nice! I had my eyes set on this piece for some time now, but due to DSA poor quality control I never ended up buying it.

same here...5 lemons (Guardian, 2x Icelander, Carpathian, Sage) to 1 decent piece (new Guardian) is just not good enough, especially when you buy overseas...

Not a fan due to previous buys but the new pommel on this model is a great improvement.
Thanks for posting the review.

It is a very beautiful sword, and one of my best selling/most requested DSA's... thanks for the mini review. Hope you do a full blown review for SBG members.

Did you grind down your blade? It seems shorter

Thanks for showing us! I really like the handle, looks very comfortable. I hope the sharpening goes well and youll have to let us know how you like cutting with the leaf profile.

I have a weird question regarding this sword and pardon me I'm kind of a newbie so bear with me, but would Appleseed profile/sharpening work with this blade shape?
