Sorry guys the man in the video and the picture aren't the same person. The one in the video has the tip of his nose cut off. the one in the picture is split down the middle. Will say the person who did the cut in the picture has great edge aliment the nose is cut right in the middle. Either way the guy in the video is stupid to let some right to cut a pickle out of his mouth. The guy with the sword is stupid for trying to do it. This is what happens when you mix beer and swords.

I think it could be the same guy -the video and the pic both have a goatee, and in the vid if you pause the slow mo's you see that his nose was cut off one side but is still attached down the right side. You can see in the slo mo that it's a big part of his nose that was separated, more than just the tip, but even up to the bridge.

Where's Tripp Fiske when you need him?  On a more serious note, I can't believe people don't have the common sense enough to know how horribly bad such an idea is, drinking or not. A hard lesson learned. Swords must be treated responsibly and with respect, not as a plaything, and NEVER handled if intoxicated.  |

With the angle of the blade in the video to split the nose down the center it would have hit him in the forehead to. Watched it several times. the angles are just wrong for a center split. The way the guy turns his head when his nose first starts getting cut would stop a clean center cut too.

I simply cannot fathom the astronomical stupidity of these people. Drugs or alcohol (or both!) must have been involved. I refuse to believe that a fellow member of the human species is naturally that dumb.
Just think of the polarity here- we have literally sent people to the moon, and these doofuses are sitting about cutting each other's noses off at a party...
