So this seems to be a broad term encompassing just about any big knife, my question is what are the ones with the back edge called?

Bolo is used for just about any machete in the Philippines. The term itself is extremely generic, and means anything larger than a normal knife up to the weapons used by the revolutionary forces against Spain in Luzon island. Maybe a picture would help?

I can't find a good one, but something with a profile that widens towards the tip with a short back edge.

Can't think of any bolos that always have a sharp back edge. I can think of many that sometimes have a sharp back edge (e.g., barong, pinuti). Don't know of a generic term for sharp back edge bolos, just specific names for specific types (that might have a sharp back edge). Do you want something specifically Philippine, or just fitting your description (which would fit a bunch of parangs, goloks, Mexican bowies)? An example: oriental-arms.com/item.php?id=6787

I'm open to non Filipino versions, but I'd prefer something of Filipino origin.

Maybe you want him to make one for you then. Might be the best way to get just what you want

TFW have some bolos with false edges; don't know if they're sharpened, but you could ask them. Valiant Co have some Indonesian blades that fit your description. Check their horn golok and golok kelapa. valiantco.com/

Valiant Co is good stuff. I have their Bosnian knife in "Damascus" which I bought years ago. There was an error in their inventory, though, and the knife was sold out. They offered me a special version made for their own collection from white horn, which I happily took.
Being "Damascus," it's somewhat soft steel, bent the tip a few times but it easily bent back. Holds its edge very well, though. Read great things about their normal steel offerings.

It always worries me when a sword store uses computer created images instead of actual pictures So bad my eyes are? Lol. From the big green guy to the little one. In a bunch of the pics you can see the parts and blades are cut and paste images being reused, flipped and rotated but reused

They must know how to forge damasus it shouldn't so soft it will bent. If the rest of it holds a good edge, but the tip is bending, I'd say they burnt the tip and ruined the temper with some sort of electric polisher or some such. We both know how easy it is to overheat the tip of a blade with a sander or something.

Probably didn't help that I dropped it into the floor, sticking the tip, then tripped over it... But yeah, mostly it does okay; just a bit soft, like most "Damascus" stuff out there. Thought about picking up the plain steel version, but meh~

I can confirm that valiantco make really good monosteel blades, I have two of them and they are still in my collection when a lot of other blades aren't.
