That link won't load for me, but I remember someone posted either the same link, or a similar one. Sonny posted in the thread and said that these are NOT Valiant Armoury pieces, they're a rip-offs.

I had a look for the thread I was talking about, but I wasn't able to find it.

What's worse is it looks like they have a vid of Paul (admin) doing a cutting vid using VA's sword for their POS ripoff.

Just noticed this at the bottom of the page while looking at one of their swords. (at www.iloveswords.com/ME606_swords.html not the first site I was talking about) "Battle Ready Signature Edition Swords by Valiant Armoury The Valiant Armoury Atrim Sword is based on a design by noted sword smiths Angus Trim & Christian Fletcher. Valiant has taken some of these custom pieces and reproduced them in their factory to offer these great swords at a more affordable price. Gus Trim is known throughout the Custom sword world as having some of the greatest skill and knowledge in sword metallurgy and craftsmanship. Christian Fletcher is a Master Cutler. He builds his works on blades from a few sources but uses Gus Trim blades exclusively for the original designs he creates for our "Signature Edition" swords." so they're high quality fakes I guess, if the product details arent lying. "Overall Length: 45 1/2'' Blade Length: 36 1/8'' Handle Length: 7'' Blade Width at Guard: 1 13/16'' Sword Weight : 2 lbs 9oz Blade Material: Hand Forged 1060 High Carbon Spring Steel , sharpened factory edge. Handle Material: The guard and pommel are made of solid steel and the grip is wood with a leather wrap. Includes a premium wood scabbard with oxblood leather wrap, and an included sword belt." it also says that Noble wares is a licensed dealer of valiant armoury products or reproductions in this case.

The grip and scabbard is definitely not Sonny's (Valiant Armoury) work, but it does look very similar to Ronin's new Euro line. Since Valiant Armoury and Ronin both share a forge that makes the fittings and the sword blades, I'd say a very good guess is that their forge is selling to third party distributors behind their backs. This is particularly dishonest towards Sonny who owns the copyright and IP for that particular sword design.

I think few German sellers had these for sale before Ronin started their Euro lineup if I remember correctly. You can see that Swords & More had that product up for sale in July 2014 and Ronin lineup launched in December 2014. I would say the same that Lemuel said above me. Many German sellers buy stuff directly from China.
Iloveswords (Noble Wares) seems to have genuine Valiant lineup for sale. Not sure how Valiant operates today, if they are the only direct sellers of their products. However if Noble Wares had purchased items before this shift happened they'll still sell their inventory I guess.

I messaged Sonny on Facebook to let him know in case he wants to look into it further. The practicals on the second site linked to in this thread look like actual va swords. The stuff from that first site linked to look like the Ronin stuff as Lemuel mentioned.
