PS: Thought I would add, the trailmaster was extremely easy to put a handle on. I cut the rubber off with a knife, the lanyard tube with a hacksaw. I used two pieces of oak to make the grip and just routed a channel for the tang. The tang is straight, no taper to speak of. If memory serves, a 5/8" router bit was a perfect fit. Put a thick pin through the lanyard hole, lots of epoxy and put the sucker back together.

I might have to do that. Also my preference in big bowie concealed is that I train with my bowies a lot.

Honestly, I'd go with "No." But you seem very interested, and I've got no experience, so I say go for it. How bad can it be? I'm not about to find out for you.

Why do you think T 10 is superior to 5160 steel. 5160 is one of the best steels for heavy choppers.

Have no idea what you were trying to link to. Just get the knife, you will probably think it's great like some people think Winchester bowie are great.

That review was really hard to watch, like most YouTube knife reviews. Guy did some...different things to his knife, suggesting quite openly that the knife "needed" the "improvements" to be "functional" by his "standards" as such.
Seeing as we still don't even know where these knives are sourced, it can't really be guaranteed that all their knives are as "good" as this one, either.
At the end of the day, as fallen says, just get the thing and see for yourself if its to your liking. Worst case scenario, you're out a small sum of money.

It's true, but pretty much all lower prices bowies must be altered in my opinion because a sharpened back edge is a must.

It's also illegal in many places, hence not a common practice at production.

It's also illegal in many places, hence not a common practice at production. True, but in good ol Arizona I can carry any knife I please. Of course for me that's provided I can stick it down my pants, so up to twelve inches of blade works well.

Yes, but nobody with any sense lives in Arizona. ...or keeps a 12" bowie down their pants, but to each their own?

Personally, I find the prices of Medford knives (Ebay) to be too high.

What did this have to do with crazy crow knives.
And yes even as tall as I am keeping a long bladed knife would be uncomfulable.

It's actually barely noticeable in strong side of iwb. Look up southern comfort sheaths for an example.

Yes, but nobody with any sense lives in Arizona. ;) ...or keeps a 12" bowie down their pants, but to each their own? It's good ol wow factor. If I pull it because things got hairy any right minded person would run from the seemingly out of nowhere short sword. Plus if I do actually need to use it in a defensive situation I believe that reach is my friend.

Nah, the other fella will just back away and pull a gun. They reach further.
But hey, you do you, Dundee.

Nah, the other fella will just back away and pull a gun. They reach further. But hey, you do you, Dundee. Maybe, but probably not. Somebody jacking wallets often can't afford a gun in the first place. Also you can do things like tie up a draw and close distance. Most average street criminals aren't supreme gunmen with years of range time. Plus, I also have a gun.

Who said they bought it? I could pick apart other parts of your post, but I'll refrain. Just do what you want.
