I found this website awhile back illustrating the features of the CS Laredo and other Bowies. Great pix. There's even a link to the Edge Pro Knife Sharpening System which utilizes the same Lansky-like approach of a precisely positioned sharpening arm (w/ stone), but appears large enough to easily handle blades (10+") in length.

WOW! What a find, +1 for sure, and by the time I finish reading I'll have recharged and you'll get a +2! Haha
I just love the Natchez style bowie, they look like a cross between a gentleman's dirk and a butcher knife. Wicked and stylish, all in one.

I'd love to pick up a Natchez style Bowie, IF it were made in a high carbon steel (such as SK5-1080?), but not stainless, sandwiched or otherwise.
The new SK5 Laredo can be had at some sources (SAVSON) for $105 (vs $338 for the Natchez). I can see spending >$300 for a sword, but a knife?!
Here in AZ every Mall shopper should carry at least a 10+" Laredo Bowie and watch your back. Never know when some gang banger is going to take offense.
