There's no shortage of knightly and grandiose swords on the market. There's a blade for every Lord, Sir and Duke from here to Bergundy. Not a lot of 'peasant arms' knocking around however.
This will be good for re-enactors in levy costumes and so on. No more will a 15th century archer get away with carrying a sword worth a thousand times his stipend. :P
If nothing else, it will encourage people to do likewise and make their own.

Yeah, I can see that. The flail and cudgel would be fairly easy to make. I don't think that they have to aged so harshly either. A lot of re-enactors that I have seen have awesome costumes but their gear sometimes looks too old or worn to be the possession of someone who keeps their equipment maintained. In the old days "free time" was usually a more relaxed continuation of the workday.

I like them. Although I should point out that old billhooks aren't that hard to get hold of.
