Get them started young I always say. They are adorable Dave. But I must say I am disappointed that none of the women members have posted anything. Must be they do think that swords are just boy toys.

Goodness, the Chinese sword arts are full of women wielding swords, there's more you tube videos and pictures on the web than you can count!!! If I had a dollar for each one I'd be able to buy the whole Albion catalogue in one shot and then some lol! :)

Every Renn Faire I've seen adverticed says " Leave your weapons at home ", which is why I've never been to a Renn Faire. I've done reenactments because they don't tell us to leave our weapons at home, not yet anyways.

I've done reenactments because they don't tell us to leave our weapons at home, not yet anyways. Most will allow weapons as long as they are secured. I cable tie ours to the scabbard before I get there but security in the faires I've been to always check and secure your weapons if you don't have ties. Check with folks that have attended your local events for the particulars.
