Because quests can't have cool avatars like mine. I like picnics, the more the merrier. Cool? Or terrifying? Is it the belly scar?

No I think it's just the belly.

Good thing it was just a mix up. I usually browse the forum and just log in when I actually write something or PM's and such. I've also linked stuff at SBG to non-members as I think we have good information here, would be a shame if non-members were left out of the forum.

I think they should be allowed to look but not to comment or post until they become a member. What's the point of having memberships if anyone can partake. But the big problem like I said before is it leaves the door open for spammers to come in. I've seen really good forums destroyed by spammers. I'm just to the point where I'm only getting two or three spam mails a day but there was a time where I was getting ten or fifteen a day. Don't need that back again.

We already covered spam posts in a previous thread, shortly after the move. Just report them and the mods will handle the rest; we've got plenty of mods to handle things. Guest posts can be convenient when they're not abused, and I'm not against them, but full membership has its value as well. I could have sworn we'd already found a way to disable guest posting, and I hadn't personally seen any new guest posts in a long time, but if something changed in the settings or some software update screwed things up, then I suppose the admin team will deal with it. Just remember kids, moderation isn't only for the moderators; we're all involved. Click that "Report Post" button if you see something shady. Oh, and Rick, I like the other picture just fine. Really cements who you are, I thought.

I agree with Gunnar, and don't favor guests with the ability to post. Everybody should be able to read the forum though.
