i see they have some at KOA , but yes this is nice looking and was thinking of getting one,do we know if its 1090 like the katana on that page , the info wont load for me.

KOA has them in stock but i assume they are the old batch as the VA website has themas backorder or out of stock, it would be really nice to know when and if they were getting more in , this is a BEAutiful sword , i was gonna get one till i reall about the common hilt looseness , but if this is fixed in knew ones i would get one for sure ;D

These han-style jians seem to be getting more popular. I haven't had a chance to handle one, so I wonder if some of you can enlighten me... In the pictures the grips look to have a circular cross-section- is this actually the case? If so, how does one maintain proper edge alignment while using them?

Han dynasty handle shoudl be Oval cross-section. Alot of smith don't know this . just see my pic link. you we know this .
