Hi all, just finished up re-wrapping an iaito tsuka. This one received new upgraded samegawa panels (with emperor's node), black lacquer and brwon silk ito over a reshaped core.       I love these carp menuki   Thanks for looking

You must be either a machine or a wizard to create such perfect diamonds...
Gotta ask, was that F/K set original on the tsuka? Wouldn't mind getting my hands a set!

Another winner if I ever saw one - great going Josh! I really need to send you mine when I get the chance, but since I currently have only one iaito, I would need to ask my sensei for permission to use my nihonto during Iaido class (he doesn't allow any non-Japanese iaito/shinken in his dojo).

This is my tsuka...This is from a 20 year old Nyusudo Iaito, and the fuchi, kashira style was called "Higo rivet"...They no longer offer it, but is really nice..It is clear that Joshua Marlin is doing some of the best work in the country! |
