I'm not in the U.S so I can't help you but I can give you a small nugget of information.
Hanwei has recently (i don't know exactly when) changed the thickness of the tang, so older model's crossguards will not fit on the blades just like that. I know this because I bought a replacement blade on January and I had to modify the crossguard and the handle so they could fit on the new blade.
I'm guessing you are just interested in the newer models but thought it could be useful info just in case.

Also do you happen to live in Australia?

Sorry For The late reply I Have been somewhat busy. Sure I can do that, I'm not on town so I guess I Will measure it tomorrow.
I'm located in Mexico but sending swords to the U.S Is quite troublesome and risky so I'm afraid I can't help on that (mexican customs are usually a bunch of semprinis).
