You've done some beautiful work here, Bryan. All of these really showcase your excellent craftsmanship. I think the Viceroy is my favorite. Are you making your chapes or sourcing them from somewhere?

GOOD job! Really like that Landgraf scabbard, simple and elegant. Once more I find myself deeply annoyed by the fact that you're so far away and shipping costs being what they are...

Thanks! Chapes are all sourced...I made 2 for my personal scabbards but nothing great...very hard to do. The Count and Chief are Viking-shield. The other 2 are from production scabbards that I took them from. The "chape question" is still a tough one...it's hard to find ones that work with the scabbard you are making...so far I have been lucky in getting them from here and there. I don't like, personally, the real pointy ones on many sword types. Honestly most of the chapes I have used thus far on my projects were sourced from a production scabbard, some have been purchased. A lot of the production chapes are not quite a match on color so that adds an additional challenge in getting the right one.

Pretty sure we have found a replacement for Crusader Monk who is currently out of the game.
Nice work Bryan!

yep, very nice indeed. I like seeing members like this that started simply enough, evolve into their own. Great work Brian, you should be quite proud.

I try and pilfer chapes from existing scabbards but when it comes to making even a basic chape I'm rather useless. Where are you purchasing your chapes from ?
