Anyone have a good source for sword belts? Particularly those set up for single ring scabbards.

I actually contacted them about a week ago about a custom piece. Still haven't heard back.

On my way out the door and don't have time to call up sites. Try Atlanta Cutlery. Most single carrier sabres were handled with a clipped chain that attached to the service belt or sometimes a hanger with chain that you slid into position on your belt. Service dress stores also sell these. Found it! www.militarysabers.com/us-army-saber-packageBelt hanger strap and the chain are seperate. Need both pieces. I just purchased a pre WWI M1902 sabre ( with the 34 inch blade) Can get the rig here. I think most of this comes from the WKC site... www.atlantacutlery.com/s-56-clothing-accessories.aspxHad a little trouble figuring out just where these were hiding on the Atlanta Cutlery site. Its towards the bottom of the listing: "Current military, police and tactical accesories. AC is also owned by Windlass and you can use the SBGWEB discount to get 10% off there also. The strap hanger is more "police" like. The frog is more military. The pad is to help keep your spiffy, immaculately gorgeous ewnieform prettie Addendum: Do not buy any of the above mentioned accesories from AtlantaCutlery. I don't know who the vendor is who did these, but they are worthless. The Porvoir Belt fell apart in my hands, and the buckle mounting assembly was sewn in backwards. The belt hanger snap buckle is too think for the snap link to engage it. Finish on the sword chain was also sub standards. I thought they vended with WKC. I was wrong. Avoid these pieces. Stick with Marlow Wright or WKC ( Or buy a RAvenswood 1.5 inch black belt.)

Follow up. I just recieved one of two hanger and chain straps ordered from Marlow White. There are two options on the belt hanger; this GP type or a Military Frog. The chain clips onto the hanger strap. There is a mounting hook to hang the carrier ring on for sraight vertical wear on foot parade. Chain is 10 inches long. Clip on the long end goes to the carrier ring for mounted wear. If you're in europe you can go to the WKC site and buy these same accessories.

Excellent! Thank you Dave! I'll pick one up once I determine the effect of my latest sword splurge on my bank account.

Excellent! Thank you Dave! I'll pick one up once I determine the effect of my latest sword splurge on my bank account. Maybe we shouldn't talk to Mr-I-got-two-1822's-on-the-same-night over there about sword splurges :P
