Sword Handmade by Warrior Replicas? As you imply, that is the Windlass German Bastard Sword, and certainly not hand made. Odd that they are asking less than is posted over at KOA. I Googled Warrior Replicas and got nothing.
It might have been handled by someone called alibaba.com - they came up when I ran that name through Bing. They don't look encouraging.

Thanks guys. I had an uneasy feeling. I think that I’ll stay away from it. I looked for reviews but eBay does not have those and I didn’t know Amazon sold them. While 91% of the Amazon reviews were 4&5 stars there were too many discrepancies to suite me. The sword one fellow received was not as pictured.
The German Bastard Sword was advertised with a flattened oval cross section and there was at least one sword delivered with a fuller. Reading between the review lines I got the feeling that these swords were made with scrap parts coupled with whatever the vendor could come up with and quality control, for the lack of a better term, varied all over the place.

Haha, yes I know these guys. I bought their knock-off version of the MRL 15th Century Longsword just for the hilt and pommel. The blade was not sharp, somewhat floppy and had a large, rounded point. The ricasso was a couple inches longer than the MRL version. Also, the hilt and pommel were not steel, they appear to be chrome plated brass.
