Gday just wondering if anyone on the forum can make bracers to measurement for a decent price? I've owned a set called warlords ring bracers from 3 Rivers, but even the largest size was too small. So if anyone is willing and able could they pm me please ?

message u02rjs4, he makes incredible stuff sbg-sword-forum.forums.net/user/8604An old post about mine: I contacted sbg forum member Rob/u02rjs4 to commission some work. He is quite skilled at leathercraft and I believe also fairly new at it; the man clearly has a talent for the work. I provided pictures and a short video outlining my idea, the stylized initial "P" and measurements. I asked for his creative input allowing him to design/choose the celtic and floral work he felt was suited, specific colours, and such. Rob got to work right away and in just a couple of weeks was finished and had already mailed the bracers to me. To say I am stunned by the work is putting it lightly. Incredible stuff. Great detail, beautiful lines, masterful interpretation of my desires. Simply amazing. Some of his pics and mine:

Don't really want elaborate, just want something functional that actually fits ! I have pretty big forearms and no wrist which means anything i wear on my arms tends to slide forward and interfere with the mobility of my wrists, hence why i tend not to wear armguards for archery and never wear watches ! LOL

Having made these for others many times, here's my suggestion. First, determine if you need some form of padding under them, so in my case for SCA combat, I pit a layer of 1/8" closed cell foam under them. Assuming no...then go find some form of junk pattern...lots out there, draw it on brown paper bag, cut and check for fit. Personally I like to use heavier paper or put an old sock over my arm and then tape over it, then cut it off. This will give a perfect pattern of your arm. Then find someone to make it, or go to your local Tandy and give it a shot. You'd be amazed how easy it is, and you will like it more if you made it yourself. But...if you can't, you have a way to give your prospective craftsman a good rendition of your arm to work from.
Then its just haggling price and specifics of what you want.
FYI, simple bracers take an hour...tops.
