Hey all, While doing research for a new cutter, I stumbled upon a website called swordsofnorthshire.com. They have Katana that you can customize and off a variety of steels and Tsukaito materials etc. Has anyone purchased a sword from their website, if so how did you find their quality? I know their fittings are of a cheaper alloy, but they say that outright, as they specialize in blades. Thanks!

It's been said many times before on this forum and social media that Swords of the Northshire is a reseller based in TX who buys and resells Ryansword exclusively. While some people might not mind, if you do your research on Ryansword, you'll see that they have a LONG list of complaints against them for their misrepresentation of items and very questionable business practices.
I've personally never bought anything from SoN or Ryanswords, so my information is anecdotal EXCEPT for when Ryanswords was using the "Tinker" name and using it for some of their euro swords without permission from Michael Tinker Pierce, and also making unlicensed reproductions of movie/TV swords.
