I was looking for a photo of an original blued and gilt French infantry officer's sword and found this: I'm not certain that it is possible to make a more beautiful sword than that. Imagine what it looked like when it was new!

Makes think that the LC cavalry sword (trooper and officer versions) has not yet been reproduced by Empire Costume, seeing it is a very popular sword I wonder what they are waiting for to do of better quality than the Indian specimen.

I suspect something similar. Empire Costume seems to be phasing out the Indian swords.
