Does anybody know if a company made a licensed copy of the sword used by Jason Momoa in Conan the Barbarian (2011)? I love this film...but i haven't seen any licensed prop copies get released....thx

after searching through the web, I couldn't find any versions of the swords/weapons currently being made... don't give up hope though, since it seems that Albion is working on making functional pieces from that movie. You can find out more here: filmswords.com/conan/conan3dmain.htmBecause it's Albion we're talking about, you better save up some $ since they don't make "wallhangers" and their "movie" swords usually cost $1,000+

That film swords listing has been up since before the movie came out, but no swords have materialized AFAIK. Don't know if it takes them that long to make 'em or if no one showed interest. If you're willing to pay Albion prices, you should contact them and see what's going on.

If it's going to be by Crom you're going to have to ditch the sun glasses and baseball hat.

NEVER....For CROM loves Marines because they have been forged in blood, sweat, and steel in the fires of Paris Island....and uses them to Crush his enemies. See them driven before him...Hear the lamentations of their women.

I hear that. My favorite uncle served in the Marines in Korea, two purple hearts and a silver star. Also have a cousin and a nephew who were Marines. I unfortunately have flat feet and failed the hearing test. Working out twice a day seven days a week doesn't correct that.

Yep, but it's signed by Jason Momoa. Imagine what it would have cost if it was signed by Arnold. These celebraties don't sign things for free. Jason is probably getting at least a hundred dollars or more of that sale.

Probably....i dont really mind...you can thank the autograph companies for that...the celebrity signs items for fans then the same items end up being sold to the highest bidder online...the celebrity makes nothing on it....i went to a recent comic con and every celebrity there charged for autographs, pictures (even with yr own camera)...that is the oart i think is BS

300.00 for a stainless blade?? It is signed and also when have you EVER seen this movie sword for sale anywhere...it's a small price to pay for a Conan Fan...hell the licensed windless swords are 250-300 bucks but unsigned.

At least windlass versions are actually wieldable swords, not SLO's. It's good you found what you want and makes you happy, but to me it's a 300 dollar autograph, and they threw in the rat tail tang for free.I'm a fan myself, and when i saw all the cryptic hints to this one, i got excited a little bit, until I saw what it was.

Like the saying goes, something is worth what you're willing to pay for it. If you saw his post on the other Conan sword he said he took it apart and reinforced it. If he's happy with it and feels it's worth $300 to him to have it, good for him. I'm sure we all have purchased something that someone else thought we were nuts for doing. Different strokes for different folks.
