Also, there is a main guy now who is doing (TWD style) jojutsu. Making a cool show even cooler.

I don't know why they haven't figured out they can rig up bite suits to protect themselves. Or just a gambeson or padded fencing coat would work. And why aren't they using awl pikes yet? One trip to the hardware store and they wouldn't need any more of those zombie-attracting guns.

In world war Z Brad Pitt taped a couple thick magazines over his forearms. I would think that would work pretty well. So it is strange that they don't fabricate some makeshift armor. And teams of two, one with a pitch fork to catch one and another with hammer or club. I get into this stuff too much.

They did use the riot gear during the prison season. They also did have poles they used zombie skulls through the fence with. Something to note, Georgia in the summer gets rather warm with lots of humidity. Wearing any extra clothing would be quite a chore. So not unreasonable to not over layer even if it means protection in such conditions. The real danger of heat stroke and heat exhaustion would be just as much a threat as zombies. That said, there is a lot of stuff that would be easy to say why didn't they do this. Might as well ask why the military didn't figure out to use mine sweepers to stop the zombies. A few mine sweepers could clear entire cities of undead. One's like this Armtrac 400 offer remote piloting. There are also mine sweepers small enough to fit down hallways. In Zpaw vehicles like these could literally plow right through a zombie horde with no trouble. Quickly grinding up the zombies. Making plenty of noise to attract more to plow down. These are not the only large scale zombie killing machines either. There are all sorts of machines that would make whole sale zombie killing easy. Similar to mine sweepers, Combine harvesters have a giant spinning "blades" on the front. These could again take care of large amounts of zombies quickly.

video 6 in the series explains who is behind the marketing campaign by finding the Are you patient Zero website. Turns out it is from Skybound who owns the comic and game rights, but not the TV series. So it is the comic or gaming that is doing this campaign and not AMC.
Also just a reminder, Fear the Walking Dead the spin off series is starting on the 23rd. Just figured I would remind folks so they can catch that if they are interested.
