The additional Golden Oriole arrived a few days ago and my Munetoshi competition katana arrived today :-) :-)

Ok, so I went ahead and took some quick pictures of everything. They aren't the best pics - taken with my phone, but it's a start. Each pic has a label saying which sword it is. |

I just ordered and paid for a couple of brand new katanas. I now have a Paul Chen Bushido katana and a Paul Chen Orchid katana headed to me. I am working on a deal on another katana, but awaiting a reply. Once my offer is accepted, I will list it here and will take more pictures once all received.

CCC??? As for Bear and Sons, I'm really not sure. It was a gift. Definitely feels very nice and higher quality.

Well, I was not able to make the deal I wanted on the other Katana, so I am passing on it for now. Instead, I plan to buy a Tori Elite today, or a Kaeru (frog) today. Still deciding which one to buy now. I will be buying both soon, but just one for the moment. I am pretty sure I will go for the Tori Elite today.
AHHH - I might have to go for the Ronin Elite instead. A little more expensive than the other 2, at $825 shipped, but I want a certain one of those also, and would hate to miss the one I want, as there is only one of them :-( |

I owned both the Bushido and Orchid, among others, back in 2005. At that time, I loved the Bushido and was so so on the Orchid. I had to close my commercial Martial Arts school, and liquidate so many things, including like 20 swords. I have missed the Bushido ever since. So, when this deal came up I just had to have it. The Orchid, well it was a great deal, so I couldn't pass it up. Well, things sure change over the years. The Bushido is cool, but just doesn't feel that awesome anymore. The Orchid feels so much better to me now.
I should hopefully have the Tori tomorrow or the next day, and will be ordering the Kaeru and the Ronin Elite very soon.

Tori arrived today!! :-) Should be ordering the Kaeru and Ronin Elite soon. Not sure how I feel about the suede ito on the Tori Elite. Maybe it will just take some getting used to. |

I ordered and paid for the Hanwei Tori XL today. It should be here sometime next week. It was another great deal from Swords Of Might that I just couldn't pass up. I still want to get the Kaeru from KOA, and one of the Ronin Elite Katanas. Soon, but this deal on the Tori was way too good to pass up.
Ah, once again, I really can't say enough good things about SOM. There was a small problem with pricing this morning, and a little misunderstanding, to which Jason was quick to fix and honor. This is the 6th time I have ordered from them, and every time has worked out awesome.

The last picture of the Bugei Crane Kissaki had dirt or something in the oil and made the kissaki look damaged. Thank you to the guy that brought that to my attention. I inspected and took new pictures. Here is both sides of the Crane Kissaki. Attachments:
