Now, I am not sure if this is the right area to post in, but it seemed appropriate.
I was wondering if someone could provide a link or explain to me how a polishing stone is used, and how to do the final polish and etc.
I was going to get some polishing stones from bugei, but I figure I better know how to use 'em first. ;D
Thanks

If you have never used a polish stone before, buy a video. I can't say I did and I regret it and next time I try to use a whetstone I'll watch one or more videos and maybe read a book about it. Because it's hard shiete , an it requires a lot of practice to(10 years to become a sword polisher in Japan) When I grinded my katana(the one I heat treated) it took me 3 days of perhaps 10 hours per day to get the shape right and get an edge with the whetstone.

www.waltersorrells.com/blades/Get Walter's video, you will not regret it. There is REALLY no way to answer this question without showing you firsthand, like a video. Just get the video.
