It had appeared to me that cleavers were getting popular so I made one. Thick, bold, intimidating, and red & black. Obviously rock pattern if it's being made by me, and with dinosaur footprints, .... lots of dinosaur footprints. Specs: S7 steel, heat treated by Peters Heat Treating, Rc 58, >3/8" thick (0.393" thick), 10.5" cutting edge, 15.25" overall, 1630 grams (3.6 lbs). The scales are Kirinite Black MOP with a ruby red G10 liners. Brass pins. The stand is dyed curly walnut with brass pins in the shape of a dino footprint I don't have any WIP pics, and if I can find the time I'll put up a vid on YouTube. .

DH? Or is that just a line that is polished in? Not DH. And the line is not polished in. I polished the whole blade but only etched the top half.

Sweet cleaver. I love them from watching Kung Fu films. Someone always has a giant cleaver in those.

Thanks everyone for your kind words. This piece will be handed to the customer in March at the next local knife show. He told me that he's "Stoked like a Mofo" LOL!
