1075 high carbon steel from Aldo. Been working on this monster mega tanto for a customer. Will do a full reveal with pics and measurements upon completion. Just doing some generic testing of the blade post heat treat before I make the hilt.

That's miiiiiiiine! lol You did awesome work Wes! Very pleased so far! Just to mentioned, the blade wasn't sharpened yet, he was just testing the integrity of the hardening. Edit: This is the drawing I made for him for reference. The cutting edge ended up being 12" long, much to my pleasure
