Let it Ring!

This past week, worked on my Hanwei/Tinker Medieval Single-Hand Sword. I put blue Loctite on the threads of the tang and cranked the nut down tight. I also put a couple of shaving sharp edges on this sword.




Apparently, my neighbor's dogs don't like the ringing as much as we do

Tetra packs kind dampen the sound, it's much more audible when cutting hard targets. 
I also really need to post a cutting vid with my reworked 1822 saber, that thing is the loudest ringer of my bunch ;)

This vid is from when I first received my DSA Excalibur. A few good ringers, at 40 seconds in and then at 1:05 in.
After I made this vid, I had Ernie at Yeshua's Sword regrind the blade, so now it has a higher pitch to the ring.
