This past week, worked on my Hanwei/Tinker Medieval Single-Hand Sword. I put blue Loctite on the threads of the tang and cranked the nut down tight. I also put a couple of shaving sharp edges on this sword. Apparently, my neighbor's dogs don't like the ringing as much as we do

Here are two of mine: Tetra packs kind dampen the sound, it's much more audible when cutting hard targets. I also really need to post a cutting vid with my reworked 1822 saber, that thing is the loudest ringer of my bunch ;)

This vid is from when I first received my DSA Excalibur. A few good ringers, at 40 seconds in and then at 1:05 in. After I made this vid, I had Ernie at Yeshua's Sword regrind the blade, so now it has a higher pitch to the ring.

Here is a goofy video of some ringy ATrims. These are among the ringingest swords in my collection.

Amazing that such a massive, brutal two-handed viking sword makes such sweet music The more I see of yours and the Fable Blades two-handers, the more I think I need to have one some day...

I wish I had that level of control and speed with my longsword.
