Ouch!!! Funny thing is, the girl seems to know what's going to happen, but does nothing to stop it. "Don't cut your hand, I'm not a nurse yet" she says. Then he cuts his hand. Brilliant...

I just showed this to my 12yo, - Don't put your hand in front of the blade! - then we went through what he should have done, cut a flat on the bottom to stand the watermelon upright.

I've seen a few vids where the person is testing his blade by chopping wood. Diagonal cuts, left then right then left then right, then the blade bounces and cuts the hand holding the wood. Did not expect that to happen.
