Generation 2 BWT Katana

I'm contemplating the purchase of a beater katana for iaido and tameshigiri, and in check with the purpose of Sword Buyers' Guide--how else could I have ended up here?--I do not want to spend much in excess of three hundred bucks. I have extensive experience with bokken and I've cut with other people's swords, mostly Paul Chen peices: the Shinto, several Practical and variations, and I've handled the Golden Oriole and Orchid. I've been researching this purchase for a while now, find Sword Buyers' Guide to be the most extensive, practical source I've come upon. After doing all the research I can without using the swords personally, I'm leaning toward the Cheness Kaze. However, one item keeps me from taking that plunge: Generation 2's BWT Katana. I'm familiar with Generation 2's blades, and I even met Mr. Hollis in his home via a mutual friend on one occasion. On that day in, let's say, 2003, I handled the first generation of this sword, and was impressed by the weight and balance. But holding a sword for a few minutes and actually putting it to the test aren't one in the same.
I've made this post overlong. I've found Mr. Southren's reviews to be accurate and fairly representative of what I'm looking for in a sword. As he [Southren] mentioned in one post he came across, he's curious to try the BWT Katana, because with the SBG discount at Arms of Valor, it's four dollars under three hundred.
Does anyone, Mr. Southren or any of the other members of this forum, own or have any experience with, anything to add about the BWT Katana? Thanks in advance.
