After searching for, like, EVER. One finally turned up at a semi-local junk yard. It was in pretty bad shape. Chipped, rounded edges. Corroded facing. Just bad stuff. So it's at a machine shop right now in line to be milled/resurfaced. Should have it back by next weekend.

Congrats! I need to steal my uncle's anvil (used to belong to my grandfather). I think it's at least 75 lbs.

The guy at the junkyard said this one was a 70 pounder, but it seemed heavier than that, to me.

I was using a piece of 1" steel plate I snagged at a junkyard. I drilled holes in it and ran wood screws through it to hold it to a 4X4, but the screws kept breaking and it wasn't very sturdy. That's what I made that little knife I posted on the "old" forum on. It was difficult, but not impossible.

Finally got it back from the shop, today. It's still not perfect, but it's a lot better than what I'm using now. I don't think I'll get to use it until sometime this weekend, though.
