Wow! Way to bring back a 7-year-old thread from the dead! Seriously, I doubt Mr. Wong is still around. Many sword makers just come and go.

There are loads of these swords up for sale on ebay. Normally the chinese sellers try to sell them off as being original but 99.99% are just modern fakes.

I tried looking earlier, before linking this thread to another in the Ancient Swords section. Couldn't find any. (Well, none that weren't "aged," that is)

ah right, you want one thats nice and new looking?
Be careful if you are going to use them though as we have no idea on the percentage of tin or zinc included in the mix.
High tin means the bronze flows easily into the mould and makes it super easy to cast. This however makes a poor sword as the bronze becomes very brittle and will snap if you tried to cut anything with it.

Those aren't half bad, and easily more affordable. Pitu they aren't actual bronze, but eh.

Most of these repros in as new condition all seem to be of the kings sword design.
I have handled a few original ones that are dotted around for sale in London, and they are tiny little things. Large dagger sized for the most part.

Bronze swords never were particularly big. I've seen some lauded as absolutely huge at a whopping two feet long, overall. I wanna say I might have seen one or two in the 30-inch range, but can't recall. I came this close to buying a smallish piece a couple years back, was going for about $475, 12-inch blade, decent shape, from Luristan "first millenium BC" et cetera. Saved my pennies for one too many paychecks and somebody else got it. Still, I'm wanting at least one bronze "sword" and if I can get a fancy Chinese original, then I'm going for it. Meanwhile, the repros are cool looking, but if that's all they are I'm not really that interested.

The original (i.e., the Sword of Goujian) is 22". Which puts the blade at about 18", which is fair to call "large dagger sized". Plenty of things traditionally called swords at that size, but also long daggers and dirks. More generally, jian of this style (i.e., bronze jian with this style of hilt) vary from about 12" total length to about 26". Short ones are often about 16" total length, and longer ones 20" to 22". Flat tang bronze jian can be longer. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sword_of_Goujian

Yeah, I've seen that one before, but generally referred to as an exception (exceptional exception, even) rather than a sample of the norm. I want one, either way.

The chinese had the long jian and the long dao. I have handled a long jian repro and its quite substantial. Would really love to have a repro long dao at some point.

The one on the bottom right is "overall total length of 111 centimeters and a 2-handed grip length of 23 centimeters." Not to scale with the ones on the left.

Huh, so I guess they got a bit bigger than I'd thought. I've been reading so much about how bronze is basically only good up to such a size that I hadn't even considered the possibility of exceptions.
