Here's some cutting footage of the Hanwei Tinker Viking Sword and Windlass Ulfbehrt I sharpened up for Jeff The Hanwei Tinker was extremely difficult and uncomfortable to cut with due to the very sharp edges on the pommel that cut right into my wrist even while i was wearing leather gauntlets. My old Tinker viking was not like that, an issue that will need corrected if the sword is to perform to its max potential. I wasn't able to score any silent cuts with it because it was so difficult to swing, but i managed to still pull some good clean cuts. The Windlass Ulfbehrt was a joy to cut with and felt very good and solid in hand, as you can see from the good cuts I made.

Great vid and sharpening job man. Lots of effortless silent cuts in there. That tinker viking looks great with that wide blade. Ulfberht was also cutting really nicely, barely had to even swing. Cant wait to get a tinker myself to send to ya for sharpening! Even though I think the norman is more for me, this tinker viking clearly handles really well. The windlass isnt as much to my tastes aesthetics wise, but the blade is looking pretty impressive after your sharpening. Thanks for sharing, these blades have serious potential with the right edge on them.
