This man was a guest to the monthly blacksmith meeting I attend. He was a guest of my friend Ray Clontz and has since passed. How he passed is what I want to impart. I don't care how old or young you are, nor care I your skill level. What we do and make kills people; even, at times, the maker. www.legacy.com/obituaries/penins ... =172978414 I will raise my glass to this man. May he rest.

RIP. It's a tragedy, but it sounds like he had a good life at least.

RIP... Sounds like he was working on something he loved doing. Too bad tragedies like this continue to happen. On another note, I was recently reading an article about welders and how they have a much larger chance of getting Parkinson's disease because of the toxic fumes from the welding rods.

Yes that is to bad, had my own close call once a lost control of a knife blade buffing it. Hit me in the forehead got a pretty good cut, just glad it wasn't a sharp blade. Now I make sure I have my face shield all the time when I'm buffing. Also don't use the back side of the buffler better to get hit in the leg or foot.
