Starting another one this one will be thicker. Don't know what kind of steel it is agian, think 1095, it is pretty tough to forge. The stange shape of the blade doesn't help either. This blade is off my Bad Boy mower. The blade i'm starting with. The blade straighted out. Foruming the tang. Starting to forum the belly. Foruming the point.

Got the bevels ground in, now it is ready for a handle. As you can see a lot of forging went into this blade. Next up a dagger with a 8in blade.

It's finish, turned out to be a nice little short sword. Blade: length 16 1/2in. width 2 1/8in. thickness 1/4in. Handle: Ash length 1/2in. Overall Length: 20in. Weight: 1lb 9oz
