They make some good ones for those inflatable bouncy house things. I'd bet you could get one of those relatively cheap. Edit: Sort of like this: www.toy-a-rama.com/shoppingcart.php

Way too big and way to high CFM I would have a 20 ft flame shooting out of the forge if I could supply it with enough propane.

They make much smaller ones. That's just something I was using for an example. First one I found.

Check your local heating and air shop. Often times, they have to replace ones that flow less than originally specified, but can still put out enough air for what you need. My grandpa works on that kind of stuff and gave me one. I used it with a ball valve in the line to the fire to control air flow.

Personally I would purchase a basic leaf blower, one with a variable trigger speed and adapt the piping, since it would be operating at a lower speed it will last longer and since (at least in Aussie) they have a two year guarantee if it fails you just take it in and get a replacement

Don't want anything that big, it would look funny to me at least and would take up too much room.

Thanks LGmartialArts, the electic motor warehouse looks like they have what I will need for the propane gas forges. How I just need to find out the cfm I will need for a charcoal forge, pretty it's alot lower.
I going to blow one of the gas forges I have now it's a horizonal forge, want to build a vertical welding forge. Then a large brake drum charcoal forge and I long 26in charcoal forge. Want to find out wants it's like the forge with charcoal. Even plan on building a charcoal retrot to make my own charcoal.
Want to build a open sided forging shed to put the charcoal forges in. Build it walls half way up then be able to close the reat of the wall with either fold up plwood or roll down canvas curtions
